However, not for its production/trafficking/use but for the soil remediation of
the drug waste.

After dismantling a drug lab (about 10 years ago), Verhoeve has already performed an excavation on the site in the past. After further follow-up, however, there appears to be significant residual contamination where the waste was discharged into the forest.
This is where Verhoeve will conduct a pilot test using Perozox® (based on ozone injection) to determine whether the substances in question (including N-formylamphetamine) can be remediated with this. If this actually works there may be a few other sites with the same problem waiting, so fingers crossed!
