26- 28 juli 2019 vond de 7e Kubuqi International Desert Forum plaats in de autonome regio
Binnen-Mongolië in China. Het thema dit jaar was “Greening the Belt and Road, the building of Ecological civilization”. Internationale kwesties als de samenwerking op het gebied van woestijnvorming preventie, klimaatverandering, ecologische restauratie en groene economische ontwikkelingen stonden centraal.
